For me, a better employee experience is personal.
When I was growing up, my Dad worked on the production line at a school bus factory. He spent 37 years making school buses. And making a difference.
He actually cared about his job, his company and the people he worked with. He cared about the kids who'd be riding those buses. And he cared about his employees, not just their livelihoods but their lives. He did all that because he stood for something. For decency. For common sense. For making things better. And for doing the right thing.
That made quite an impression on me.
Because of him, for over 35 years I've worked in internal comms and workplace culture to help companies understand and unlock the tremendous business value that comes from informing, involving and inspiring their employees.
That’s not just the right thing to do for employees. It’s the best thing to do for the business, its customers and its stakeholders.
Over my career, I’ve worked with hundreds of companies to help them reimagine their relationships with hundreds of thousands of employees, guiding them to strengthen their workplace to be more successful in the marketplace.
By being simple, honest and real.
Some might call that audacity. I call it giving a damn.
Because my work is personal to me. It’s more than what I do.
Thanks to my Dad, it’s who I am.
Here are some of the companies I’ve worked with and for...
…and their experience working with me.
